1. Product Description:
Ham's nutrient mixtures were originally developed to support clonal propagation of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) during the 1960's by Ham, R.G.
The original composition supplemented various nutrients, growth factors, and hormones with serum, though nowadays further supplements have expanded the products range of application.
Ham's F-10 supports propagation of human diploid cells and white blood cells for chromosomal analysis, along with the propagation of the primary explants of rat, rabbit, and chicken tissue.
